SC track on new (free) compilation from Intelligent Machinery

the comp. is entitled "Klang! - Noise Made With Metal" and features 15 tracks from a variety of artists, all made with sounds created from metal objects.

Here's the description from the IM website:

"Klang! is a compilation of noise, abstract, minimal and dark ambient tracks created of sounds culled from metal objects. Those densest of elements, manufactured into so many assorted apparatuses of modern convenience, are beaten, plucked, bowed, abused, misused and processed for your listening pleasure in this diverse collection of offerings from a wide range of sonic reprobates."

The SC track is entitled "In the Thick Of It". Source material was made from recordings of a broken clothes dryer being beaten with various objects; an electric shaver being run across a large metal bowl, a colander, and a cookie sheet; and a pan lid being struck while a microphone was swung in a circle above it. Various processing was applied to the sounds before (and while) being assembled into what you now hear.
